Mapping analysis and geographical databases has been used by the police as one of the important tool in crime analysis and crime prevention. Crime analysis is the method used by the police to reduce, prevent and solve crime problems. The crime problem comes with criteria that determine the potential crime area. To solve this problem, we designed a model containing Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) technique that is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to handle the uncertainty situations and Geographical Information System (GIS) to identify the potential location. An application adopting the AHP idea was developed to calculate the weights of the criteria for evaluating each crime factors. The GIS was used to overlay and generate criteria maps and suitability map. This paper highlights and discusses how to identify the most potential crime area using AHP technique while the integration with GIS.</p> ER -
